Brees eclipsed Peyton Manning’s previous record of 71,940 yards with a 62-yard touchdown pass to rookie Tre’Quan Smith during the second quarter October 8th’s Monday Night Football game against the Washington Redskins. If he plays for 2 more years, he may hit 85,000 yards passed and that record may never be broken.
